Announcement of the Best Student Paper Award*
At the closing ceremony of the PEDSTC 2024 Conference held on Thursday, February the first 2024, winners of the Best Student Awards were announced and received their certificates and prizes as follows:
The best student paper award was presented to Mr. Ali Nadermohammadi
For the paper co-authored by Pouya Abolhassani, Mohammad Maalandish, Ali Seifi, Pouneh Aghakhanlou, and Seyed Hossein Hosseini titled "Soft-Switching Ultra-High Step-Up DC-DC Converter Featuring Coupled Inductor and Low Voltage Stress on Switches".
The second-best student paper award was presented to Mr. Amirhossein Moghani
For the paper co-authored by Majid Arabahmadi, and Hossein Torkaman titled "Hybrid Excited Two-Phase Switched Reluctance Motor with Improved Torque Characteristics".
The third best student paper award was presented to Mr. Faramarz Faraji
For the paper co-authored by Honnyong Cha titled "Flying Capacitor Clamped Current Source Inverter with Improved Reliability".
Announcement of the Candidates for Best Student Paper Award
The PEDSTC 2024 organizing committee herein announces the candidates for the Best Student Paper Award will be granted during the farewell ceremony of the conference.
Selection of the candidates for the best student paper award was not an easy task when numerous good papers were submitted and accepted for presentation at the PEDSTC 2024 conference and have the potential for such a competition.
Authors of six shortlisted candidates will be contacted via email, asking them to prepare and submit a one-page letter of nomination to the organizing committee (via pedstc2024@gmail.com), highlighting the strengths and unique contributions of their work to the power electronics community. The deadline for submission of the letter of nomination is January 24, 2024.
